"Study of a Horse in Profile" and "Sketch of Animals" double-sided black pencil drawing on paper. Bearing in the lower left corner the red mark HTL for Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. French school. The mark (L. 1338) of Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec was created by Maurice Joyant, who became the heir of the artist after his death. The original stamp, created by Joyant, was scratched after his death so that it could no longer be used and is now kept in the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum in Albi. The drawings are referenced in the Dortu catalog Volume 4 page 99 D583 and 584. See a label from Sotheby's. (Stains and slight foxing). Size : 228x177 mm.
