EPERGNE OR SILVER CENTERPIECE
The central part rests on four feet and is extended symmetrically by S-shaped leafy arms, each carrying four round baskets and slightly above four other oval baskets with a large central basket. This set of nine baskets of an identical openwork decoration composed of bands supported by stirrups decorated with garlands and medallions engraved with a monogram ACM or a Crest accompanied by the motto "NIL DESPERAN-DUM".
