Circular "Marugata" steel tsuba decorated with "Zôgan" copper inlays, "Shakudô" bronze and gold alloy, and "Shibuichi" grey bronze and silver alloy, on one side of three Samuraï in arms at the foot of a fortification wall and on the other side of the siege of a citadel by a battalion of horsemen.
Multi-character mark around the "Nakago-ana", the opening for the blade, flanked by two openings for the "Kotzuka" and the "Kôgaï".
