Evening dress in tulle and black silk satin, embroidered with jet beads and black sequins. Straight top oval neckline, tulle sleeves. Braided belt. Straight skirt in satin covered with two layers of ruffles. Circa 1920 Jenny Sacerdote (1868-1962) was trained at Paquin. She founded her own haute couture house in 1909 which took the name of Jenny. During the interwar period she was one of the most famous dressmakers and her talent earned her the Legion of Honor in 1926.
