Presenting the baptism of Christ by John the Baptist. Kneeling on the bank of the Jordan River in front of his cousin who pours water on his forehead according to the iconography after the Council of Trent, Christ stands in the position of a prayer leader and receives the Holy Spirit which is materialized by the dove coming from the sky.
