An Iranian mortar with floral reliefs Engraved cast bronze with brown patina and minor verdigris. Of octagonal section with protruding base and rim and two ring shaped handles. The base slightly concave due to usage. H 12.4, D 20.5 cm, includes pestle, weight with pestle c. 10.3 kg. Iran, 12th - 13th C.
