Damien Paul Gal. Original work realized with gouache and spray paint, exclusively in favor of the operation "One tent one life". Signed. 235 x 77 cm Of Breton origin, it is in Rennes that the artistic career of the artist nicknamed "DPG" begins. Stage performances, videos and installations enrich a work begun at the age of 18. A colorful youth marked by rich and varied encounters (Louise Bourgoin, Benjamin SPaRK...), contributing to build his universe. This visual artist-performer produces works that show a real concentrate of urban culture. Street art has a bright future ahead of it thanks to Damien-Paul Gal. He uses a unique process: thermoforming. An exclusivity that only he holds the secret. The creations of Damien-Paul Gal mix different materials. Adept at recycling, packaging cardboard becomes a support for icons, plastics are transformed into flat areas of color. Recently it is towards abstraction that the relentless work of this artist already in vogue tends. The ORIG-AMI is a cardboard shelter measuring 117 x 235 x 150 cm. It is insulating, protective due to its structure, foldable like an accordion, transportable like a backpack and recyclable. The homeless shelter was designed on the principle of origami, a Japanese technique of paper folding.
