Larissa X. Original work realized with felt pen, gouache and collages exclusively in favor of the operation "One tent one life". Signed. 235 x 77 cm
Larissa Ickx was only 15 years old when she touched a canvas with her brushes for the first time. She started painting, cutting, building and gluing with fervor. The passion for art had won her over. She would later confess that she could not have done anything else. She studied in Florence, London and Paris. Thanks to her travels, especially in Africa, these adventures were decisive in the formation of her vision. She meets serious characters who mark her, and others whose lightness touches her. She welcomes all these emotions and tries to put them into images. Her mind is full of ideas, subjects come and go according to their own rhythm and Larissa works on the ground, in contact with the soil. She mixes techniques and expresses her fantasy. Often she stages female characters. She shows her thousand facets, through her works, without ever letting herself be captured. Larissa also photographs the untouched nature whose soul is powerful, she puts her personal touch
