Denis Meyers. Original work made with spray paint, exclusively in favor of the operation "One tent one life". This work shows the dark side of homelessness with words that stand out clearly from the black magma: support, share, defend which are opposed to other words: close, force, forget. Quite a symbol! Signed. 235 x 77 cm Denis Meyers, born in 1979 in Tournai is a Belgian graffiti artist, engraver and painter. He made his first stencil at the age of 8 on his skateboard. He studied graphic design and typography at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Visuels de La Cambre in Brussels, from which he graduated in 2004. Twenty-four months is two years. That's how long it took Denis Meyers to negotiate his mega project "Remember". In the vacant Solvay headquarters in Ixelles, he created the largest work of urban art in Europe on 20,000 square meters of walls. He devoted eighteen months to this ephemeral work, until the deadline, September 2016 when bulldozers then demolished the premises. The ORIG-AMI is a cardboard shelter measuring 117 x 235 x 150 cm. It is insulating, protective due to its structure, foldable like an accordion, transportable like a backpack and recyclable. The homeless shelter was designed on the principle of origami, a Japanese technique of paper folding.
