Benoît Galland. Original work illustrating a man pushing a giant torture. Graphite, felt pen and gouache made exclusively for the operation "One tent one life". Signed. 235 x 77 cm Born in Bruxellex (1955), graduate of the Saint Luc Institute. Professional background: Coming from a family of artists, model maker and creator of special effects for the advertising cinema, he realizes numerous tricks, copies of objects, management of liquids, sets and paintings, for the account of the big advertising agencies in Brussels, Paris, Athens, Casablanca and Montreal. Painter and sculptor, he exhibits in his studio in Brussels. Sensitized by social problems and the cause of the homeless, he worked for eight years with disabled people, creating an urban vegetable garden in Forest. Retired, he is again active in the film industry. The ORIG-AMI is a cardboard shelter measuring 117 x 235 x 150 cm. It is insulating, protective due to its structure, foldable like an accordion, transportable like a backpack and recyclable. The homeless shelter was designed on the principle of origami, a Japanese technique of paper folding.
