JAPAN, Late 19th century Five issues of a monthly magazine entitled Kokka, "Flower of the Nation", dedicated to the arts of Japan, illustrated with color and black and white plates, including the first issue dated October 1889 and issues 4, 6, 8. First published in Japanese, an English version was published in 1905. Considered as a pioneer in collotype, this magazine became famous for the quality of its illustrations.
