One joined a roulette wheel out of engraved brass, the handle out of glass to the imitation of the amethyst, the wheel made up of six engraved intaglios:
- Blood Jasper engraved "the best gift of love" with a cherub holding the caduceus of mercury
- Citrine "dizzy but constant" with a rosette
- Amethyst: rebus with a violin and the number 66
- Blue glass paste "I will return" with a sun and waves
- Amethyst: "tho'absent not forgotten
- Citrine "for auld lang syne" now a tankard
