Small mahogany and lemon wood pedestal table with fluted central shaft resting on a tripod base. Directoire period. Provenance: Countess Hélène de Breteuil, Jacques Peltzer family collection. It appears in the descriptive and estimated inventory for insurance drawn up in 1979 by the auctioneers Chapelle-Perrin-Fromantin listing the property at Madame de Breteuil's at 16 rue Singer in Paris.
