Important cup in porcelain and doucaï enamels, with decoration in central medallion of two phoenixes facing each other in the middle of four blooming lotus flowers, the border decorated with the eight bajishiang Buddhist emblems arranged in the middle of clouds in the shape of lingzhe and ruyi. The outer border is decorated with foamy waves and horns of plenty, the reverse side decorated with lotus flowers and foliage.
China, Qianlong mark and period. Qianlong mark in zhuanshu on the base.
