Thieme, Ekkehard (Berlin 1936 - 1999 Flensburg). Large collection of 16 partly colored drawings, 3 framed oil paintings (from 1979), 2 small sketchbooks with a total of 56 charcoal sketches, 19 etchings, 10 woodcuts, etc. Mostly signed and dated, some with autograph dedication to a good friend, the prints mostly proofs or numbered. Mostly from 1976-1998. Various formats, mostly under simple glass exchange frame (2 glass panes broken).- In addition, 1 folder with 17 autograph, mostly detailed, personal letters with signature (from 1976-1998), numerous postcards, other small sketches and prints, 3 Thieme catalogs (mostly with autograph dedication to above friend). After studying at the Hamburg University of Fine Arts and stays at the Villa Massimo in Rome, the Berlin-born and Flensburg by choice Ekkehard Thieme taught at the Muthesius University Kiel.- Among the drawings 1 self-portrait and numerous typical 'graphic surfaces', trees, still lifes, 'light divides the space' and others, among the etchings: Ort am Meer (WVZ 78), Torso II (WVZ 131), Verhör (WVZ 287), Kopfstein I (WVZ 291), Kopfstein VII (WVZ 297), Hand VII (WVZ 343), Jakob sieht Rahel I (WVZ 352), Brief (WVZ 360), Mit mytholgischer Szene (WVZ 364) and 'Auge im Vogelkopf' u.v.a.-. The letters and the dedicated works mostly on the occasion of a birthday or as a New Year's gift.
