NASA. Apollo 8 mission. Here is a view of the large lunar crater TSIOLKOVSKY photographed by the astronauts of the APOLLO 8 mission when they were the first humans to see the lunar soil at such close range. The TSIOLKOVSKY crater is approximately 150 miles in diameter. It was first identified by the Russians thanks to photographs taken by their spacecraft LUNA 3. December 1968. NASA logo and typed caption on the back. 20,5 x 25,7CM with margins.
