Four retirement leaves concerning the Scottish gendarmerie, the English gendarmerie, bodyguard of the Count of Artois and gendarme of the Queen; pieces on vellum partly printed, headers with large vignettes marked: "Gendarmerie" and with the coat of arms of France, one dated 1774, one 1781 and two 1788; 43 x 27,5 cm. Two printed vignettes are attached.
