MARI (Mesopotamia). Two statuettes. Terracotta. One broken, glued. 3500 to 1600 B.C. H. 12.5 and 14 cm. Provenance: Parrot excavations. "Research on the Tell Hariri, in the middle valley of the Syrian Euphrates, 15 km from the border post of Abu Kemal, began in 1933.
