Jesus on the cross against a dark night sky, mourned by the assistant figures of Mary, John and Mary Magdalene kneeling at the trunk of the cross, who embraces Jesus' feet with a cloth. On the right - crowded together - armored Romans, Longinus on horseback with flag and Joseph of Arimathea in turban. On the left narrow view of buildings in the background. Above the reddish colored ball of the sun, which is darkened by the clouds according to the Bible text. Copper plate slightly wavy. A.R.
