"Where Am I" by Nora Juhasz Painter of Hungarian origin, living in Luxembourg since 2014 norajuhasz.com Oil on linen canvas, signed on the back. Year of realization: 2019 Dimensions: H: 65; W: 81 cm My focus is on human beings. I am particularly interested in how they struggle with their fundamental existential situation of isolation. My approach, which involves minimalist narrative figuration combined with pop art and naive elements, was developed to address the connection/isolation paradox, which also makes the actions in my images sober and meditative. In my work, I explore those moments when the protagonists are either connected in some way but still experiencing their loneliness, or when they manage to find temporary relationships.
