Provenance:
Alexandrine Soleirol (1848-1883), who received it from her grandfather Joseph François Soleirol (1781-1863), a polytechnician, bibliophile, and numismatist whose prestigious collection of Byzantine coins was sold in Paris on July 19, 20, and 21, 1855, at Hôtel Drouot.
