Superb and rare stole in the Point of Gauze, needle, Belgium, circa 1880-1900.
In the state of new, this stole in the Point of Rose of a remarkable quality of realization and of a big variety of worked points particularly tight in the needle among which some with effect of shaded, as well as these big bloomed roses in double or triple rows of detached petals and pearled stamens bring us towards a production such as those of the house Minne-Dansaert, specialist of the laces in the Point of Gauze of such a high quality
This dense decoration with flights of leafy branches decorated with large opened roses and buds, bunches of snowballs and superb foliage, of flexible cartouches in arabesques decorated with medallions with many varied modes, illustrates remarkably the Belgian productions of this period.
