Al-Bûsîrî (Sharaf al-Din Abu 'Abd Allah Muhammad b. Sa'id b. Hammad al-Sanhaji al-Busiri) was an Egyptian poet of Berber origin (1212-1294 or 97). He is famous for his masterpiece, the poem entitled "Kitab al-Kawâkib al-durriya fî madh khayr al-Barriyya", later known as "al-Burda", in reference to the burda (woollen cloak or coat) of the Prophet to which he refers in this poem.
