This booklet of 32 lithographed pages was printed in the workshops of the Vitebesk school under the direction of El Lissitzky.
On the cover, a woodcut by Malevich. The handwritten and lithographed text is punctuated with black circles and stripes, the last three pages each contain a lithograph of the 'Black Square', in different formats.
The three lithographs by Malevich appear in sheets (23 x 17.7 cm) in this copy:
- Dynamic nude dated 1911 in the plate, titled
- Three cubist figures on the same sheet annotated: Diagram I, construction of the axes of the nude. 2. Diagram of the cubist construction. 3. Cubist constructive drawing
- Cubist composition with cow and violin, accompanied by a text: "Logic has always erected barriers to new subconscious movements. To free itself from its prejudices, the movement of alogism was created. The drawing above represents a moment of struggle: the juxtaposition of two forms a cow and a violin in a cubist construction"
