Leather-covered handle with remains of filigree. Punched brass mounting, four-point guard. Straight blade with double hollow sides, stamped on the heel, engraved on the flat back "Mre Impale de Chatt Juillet 1863 mle 1854".
Scabbard in iron sheet metal with two bracelets (orange peel).
