NEVERS - late 18th century
Revolutionary salad bowl with contoured edges and twisted ribs, with polychrome decoration in the center of a Doric column joined to two drums and a curious flag of triangular form, in a medallion. On the wing, flowers and combed blue hemmed.
Decoration of similar inspiration, Heitschel collection, p.133, n°219.
Diameter : 29,5 cm. 11 1/2 in.
Condition of use, chips on the rim, two holes on the back.
