Chromatics is a piece that highlights the need for a radical struggle against racism, "radical" meaning that the struggle must also be symbolic and conceptual, "at the root" of representations. To this end, it is a question of exposing and eradicating the conditioning of an "ordinary racialism" which creates via language and automatic thinking a mainly subconscious linguistic "apartheid" ("White" / "non-White", "Black" / "non-Black" for example) in order to fight its social, political but also aesthetic consequences.
