MIRROR in a gilded wood frame France, XVIIth century Linden Some resumptions to the gilding 112 x 98 cm Precious mirror with bevelled mirror of rectangular form with carved, moulded and gilded wood frame. Richly carved decoration of garlands of roses, fruits, ears of wheat, acanthus leaves, rows of tulips, pampers and water leaves in an entourage of rows of pearls, leaves and stripes of heart. Our exceptional mirror draws its inspiration from the most sumptuous productions in vogue which will blossom at the Court of the Sun King (fig.1).
