Panel of tapestry of the royal manufacture of Aubusson (France), from the end of the XVIIIth century Dimensions : Height : 253cm ; 179cm. Technical characteristics : In wool and silk. (Restorations of maintenance, some oxidations and natural wear) From a carton of David Teniers. We see a landlord coming out of his inn, nestled in a green setting, with a turkey to roast in his hands. A starving dog barks at this appetizing food, while a fiddler, perched on a bench, under the shelter of an awning, plays a jig. Very colorful border with garlands of flowers and foliage rolled up in twists.
