Rare DOROCH carpet, (Khorassan region), (Persia), late 19th century
Dimensions : 190 x 140cm.
Technical characteristics : Wool velvet on a cotton foundation.
A pink field parma abraché hosts various floral forms and varied, with green tendency, as well as small birds. In the center thrones a polylobed medallion framed by four spandrels with arabesques. Six counter borders, with garlands of flowers, surround the main anthracite, with polychrome plant trellis.
