A RARE LATE 18TH CENTURY IRISH / CORK SILVER SALT SPOON, with deep oval shaped bowl, the handle decorated with lovely clear bright cut design, and engraved with the initials MC. Maker’s mark is partial however coupled with the very clear STERLg mark would suggest the maker was James Warner. This Cork Silversmith was made a Freeman of the city in 1799.
