A VERY FINE 19TH CENTURY ROSEWOOD ‘WORK’ TABLE, the top with curved ends having raised gallery edge, a single drawer to the frieze holds compartmented interior, beneath which is a pull out drop drawer ‘work drawer’ covered to the outside with pleated silk like material, all raised on a pair of side pod supports with pierced panels flanked with barley twist supports on down turned curved feet on castors united by a central barley twist turned bar stretcher. These work tables are a great piece of multifunctional furniture; they can be used as their original intended purpose if you are a crafter but also can be repurposed as wonderful lamp / side tables. 74.3 x 77.5 x 50.8cm (H x W x D).
