Very rare first edition of this work composed by the physicist and pharmacist Henri-Edmond Robiquet (1822-1860), illustrated with several woodcuts in the text and on the full page as well as with 2 plates including a charcoal photograph of the tomb of Sultan Mahmoud in Constantinople.
Copy enriched on the title with this autograph sending from the author addressed to Gustave Lebègue :
