Reprint of the 1840 edition, illustrated with the same frontispiece on chine glue and 147 vignettes by Tony Johannot in the text, including one repeated on the title.
A copy in the publisher's cardboard, in very sought-after condition, very well preserved although slightly warped. Rare foxing inside.
