Important skeleton clock with complications. Dial, central annular (with second hand) displaying the hours, minutes and dates, with indexes in Arabic and Roman numerals, topped by a smaller dial dedicated to the phases of the moon (Dubuisson enameller). At the bottom, two other dials, the right one for the days of the week, the left one for the months of the year. Movement ringing the hours and half-hours. The whole resting on two columns with capitals, surrounding a balance with compensation to suspension "knife". Terrace in molded black marble. Gilded bronze with mercury, matt and shiny. Signed J.F. (François Joseph, son of Hubert Sarton). Sarton in Tilleur. Work of the beginning of the 19th century. Dimensions : 63,5 x 32 x 13 cm. Condition : Very good condition. With key. Provenance : Collection of Baron and Baroness François Duesberg. Presented in the exhibition "Napoleon and his time", François Duesberg Museum 2015.
