SECOND EDITION but FIRST ISSUE of the 7 ORIGINAL COMPOSITIONS BY PABLO PICASSO engraved by hand on copperplate in intaglio by Georges Bétemps. 14 POEMS by Geneviève Laporte in two states, the first one printed at 217 copies : one of 100 on Johannot pur fil. The second limited edition of 84 copies plus a few H. C. copies on various papers: ONE of 30 numbered copies on Johannot pur fil vellum, including a SUITE of the scratched engravings, printed on China, double sheet. "An amateur, in love with the beauty of the illustration and the lyricism of Geneviève Laporte who had provoked it, acquired 84 copies, having for ambition to present the engravings of Pablo Picasso in a new edition, established to his taste. The typography and printing were entrusted to Pierre Bouchet. For this edition, only the hors-texte that adorned the previous edition were used, and the pages of text that had been kept as "supporting documents" by the new publisher were attached to each copy of the present edition. Copy in PERFECT CONDITION.
