CORNEILLE (Pierre). THEATER BY P. CORNEILLE, with comments [by Voltaire], and other interesting pieces. New and expanded edition. Without place [Geneva] nor name of editor, 1776. Ten volumes in-8 porphyry calf, triple gilt fillet with corner irons on the boards, smooth spine partitioned and decorated, title and tomaison pieces, marbled edges (Binding of the time). Rubbing to the binding, small loss to a headpiece, several corners dulled, some leaves faded. BEAUTIFUL EDITION ILLUSTRATED with a frontispiece engraved by E. Thiebaut and 34 off-text FIGURES by GRAVELOT. It is a reprint of the 1764 edition published in 12 volumes with the same engravings.
