Very fine proof on strong laid paper, with numbers 23 and IV in the tablet, before number 23 at upper right. Folio number 24 in pen and sepia ink in the upper right corner. Normal median vertical fold. Very light marginal foxing. Minute missing in the lower right corner. Left edge irregular, slightly ragged, with small binding tab holes. Large margins. First Parisian edition.
