Coffee table, Louis XV style, mid-twentieth century. Carved wood and marble top. Measurements: 51 x 125 x 55 cm. The piece of furniture is composed of a large rectangular top made of green marble, raised on four cabriole legs finished with carvings. The sinuosity of the legs is continued in the profile of the waist, which is made up of alternating concave and convex shapes, an identifying characteristic of the Regency style, a transition between Baroque and Rococo. The carvings have sinuous forms inspired by the rocaille motifs typical of the Rococo language. The reliefs on the legs stand out.
