Early 20th century display cabinet.
Wood, bronze and glass.
Measurements: 91 x 252 x 62 cm.
This is a display cabinet from a well-known jewellery shop on Madrid's Gran Vía. It has forty-eight drawers decorated with golden handles. The opposite side is decorated with garlands and a large oval medallion. The curved areas of the ends leave the interior of the unit in view by means of two glass screens, in the same way as in the upper part of the entire unit, thus responding to its function as a counter.
