A rosewood veneer and boxwood fillet chest of drawers, opening to five drawers on three rows. It rests on small curved feet. Louis XV period. Stamped: P. Roussel with J.M.E. Beautiful ornamentation of gilt bronze such as handles, entries of locks, lamp-heads and falls. Top of red breccia marble with throat. (Small accidents and missing, restorations of uses) H : 84 x W : 130 x D : 65 cm Roussel (1723-1782) Cabinetmaker. Mastered on August 21, 1745.
