"An accident during shooting forced me to redo a whole week of work. In addition, the bad weather has caused me to take eight days off. I therefore ask you to take over Marius at the Variétés with the company you choose. Jacqueline Bouvier and Raymond Pellegrin will come on September 1 or during September to play the roles of Fanny and Marius. Do you agree? Yours affectionately, Marcel Pagnol".
