The Viennese graphic artist Otto Feil (1895-1984) is especially known for his views of Vienna. - The focus of our bookplate collection is on works from the period after World War II, but there are also some earlier prints. - On the backing board in each case typewritten information about the owner. Thus a bookplate with monogram, listed in Schutt-Kehm 21.478 as "Y G", here resolved as "V G" for Vaclav Grégr. - Individually mounted on backing cardboard, rarely lightly browned, extremely rare with small crease. - Enclosed approx. 50 greeting cards by the Viennese artist in separate slipcase. - Collection of approx. 280 bookplates by Otto Feil.
