Gabrielle Bompart, murderess, the case known as "La Malle sanglante", 1890. Albumen print 12,3 x 8,5 cm pasted on cardboard. The ribbon crossing the model's face is the edge of her veil. Two scores (one of which is marked "Collection Romi") on the theme of this affair of the bloody trunk and a 1966 photograph of the trunk which, at that time, was shown at an exhibition are attached.
