PELIKE IN THE STYLE OF GNATHIA
DATE: IV-III sec. BC.
MATERIAL AND TECHNIQUE: pinkish figulina clay, shiny black paint with metallic reflections, white and yellow overpainting, orange coloring modeled by fast lathe.
Pelike with everted lip with molded rim, high neck with concave profile, indistinct from the ovoid body, ribbon handles set vertically from the neck to the shoulder, foot echino molded, decorated on the neck with kyma ion and olive branches
PRODUCTION: Apulian pottery in the style of Gnathia.
STATE OF CONSERVATION: reassembled from fragments with small gaps
