TWO KULLI VASES DATE: 2500-1,900 BC. MATERIAL AND TECHNIQUE: pinkish clay, chamois mottling, brown paint, red green and white, modeled by fast lathe. Terracotta truncated-cone bowl painted with cervids standing on the left with long horns and geometric motifs; lenticular vessel with small upper opening, decorated on the shoulder with a lion gradient on the left and a bird (2) PRODUCTION: Kulli culture, Nindowari, Baluchistan, Pakistan STATE OF CONSERVATION: intact cup, partially reassembled vase DIMENSIONS: h. cm 4 and cm 8; diam. cm 13 and cm 12.
