Paris, by the Company, 1769. Two small volumes in-8 bound in full contemporary basane, spines decorated. Ex libris autograph on the title pages (Gendarme de la Garde).
First volume : Frontispiece (Parrocel), portrait of the author (Thomassin) and 29 plates, two of which are folded.
Second volume : two folding plates.
Contains well the treaty of the stud farms at the end of the second volume. Engravings well contrasted.
A well-bound copy.
Missing a page of the second color endpaper in the second volume, autograph traces in pen on the first white endpaper, lack of paper on the plate "Disease of the horse". Whitish marks on the boards, scattered rubbing to the binding.
