Vase of globular form composed of two parts, the lower one is a simple bowl with a flat and circular bottom, while the upper one, provided with a circular opening with a rounded lip, constitutes the lid of the vessel. Similar types of vases, sometimes with a more angular profile, are attested at the very beginning of the Egyptian dynastic period.
