In the form of a vertical truncated cone horn, the mouthpiece decorated with three concentric bands modeled and slightly hollowed out between each. The end ends in the front part of a ram (missing horns). The almond-shaped eyes are hollowed out and were probably inlaid. The front legs are folded under the body of the animal. Very good preservation.
A Middle-Eastern bitumen ram-head rhyton. In the shape of a vertical tapered horn, the mouth is adorned with three concentric bands modeled and slightly hollowed out between each. The tip ends with the front part of a ram (horns missing). The almond shaped eyes are recessed and probably should have been encrusted. The forelegs are folded under the body of the animal. Very good conservation. Ca.1st millenium B.C
