OUSHABTI IN THE NAME OF KHAEMWASET Egypt, New Kingdom, 19th dynasty, 13th century B.C. Siliceous earthenware with blue and black glaze. Restorations. H. 11,9 cm Provenance Former private collection acquired in the early 1980s Then by descent, private collection, 1998. In his mummiform sheath, he wears a rounded wig with a long lateral lock ending in a loop. On the body, a painted hieroglyphic column showing name and title = Khaemouaset (fi ls of the king, priest-sem). A New-Kingdom blue and black faience glazed usabti with the name of Khamwaset.
